Actually, it's not really all that obvious. Fake punts are frequently called from the sidelines. Fedora has given our punter the freedom to make that choice when he sees an opening. Yesterday, he just made a poor choice.

Actually, I think his poorest choice took place long before yesterday, when he signed that letter of intent to UNC. That's pretty much a sure-fire way to never play in the NFL, or at least to have an abysmal career if you're lucky enough to be drafted.

Never mind that UNC has put 50 more players in the NFL than State and has 2 HOF'ers to 0 for State. Not to mention that UNC has 36 former players with Super Bowl rings. I'm sure State must have a couple. I can think of one, but he had to become a coach to get his. There must be a lineman, or DB or two who have one. Maybe one of the Holts, or both.

I know, right - only UNC fans would brag about a scumbag child molester being in the HOF. Speaking of that, shouldn't LT be taken out of the HOF? Joe Paterno's statue was torn down only b/c there was evidence he knew one of his staff was abusing children, but LT is a convicted pedo and he stays in the HOF? Not cool.
