Duke is notorious for its flopping, and their acting is one of the reasons people hate them so much. The good news is at least announcer Dick Vitale didn't cover for the Blue Devils like he did last year.

Dook was known for playing some really good defense, they would use the flop as a last resort - now the flop is their first resort and playing good defense has left the building

Drawing charges on a bunch of kids that have never attempted a midrange jumper in their 17 years of existence is the right play. You will get the call every time because they will keep charging into the defender.

A charge is a charge. Not once last night did I see a player "flop" without being ran into. Yes, Duke is known for taking charges, it's what they do. It's effective, legal and there's nothing wrong with it. I do have a problem with flopping or starting to flop before the player is touched...yes, this includes Duke players as well. Legitimate charges? I have no problem with it.

I wonder how many points duke got off of the flopping? Probably Kentucky would have been leading at the half.
I wonder what the problem is with Alex Murphy??? He played 2 minutes. Wasn't one of the reasons for his red shirt last year was so he could improve and learn. Also, Amile Jefferson only played 4 minutes.
Maybe Alex should think about transfering to university where he can play. Unless, he banking some bling now. I assume he's met Andre Dawkins.
