    It look like you still have that problem with connecting dots. Let me see if I can explain this is simpler terms.

    The information from neighborhoodscout.com site reports the crimes that happen in Durham. The stateunversities.com site report the crimes that happen on the dook campus. Thus, the crimes on the dook campus are a subset of the crimes that occur in Durham (dook is located in Durham). That is the connection between the two.

    The burglarly rate statistic was used as an instructional tool to teach you how to extrapolate the numbers from the data provided by the links( that is why I said "For example").

    It is really not too hard to figure out, it doesn't even require long division. If you are still not able to perform these basic math equations, you may want to enlist the aid of a tutor.

    Using the link I provided it is really not too hard to extrapolate those numbers. For example, using a total enrollment of 6600 undergrads (total enrollment at dook), and a burglarly rate of 3.75 per 1000 students, the number of buglarly reports on the dook campus is 25.

    A basic understanding of math is all that is required. Now that I have shown you how it is done you can find the rest for yourself if you are so inclined. If you need any more assistance, maybe Daddy E. can help.
