Final score notwithstanding, Virginia played Carolina pretty much even until that goal line stand, followed by a long TD drive, took the air out of their balloon. They were visibly deflated after that.

But this was a different team than the one that lost six straight earlier in the year. They finally found a reliable offense, and were playing well on both sides of the ball. If I'm Va Tech, I'm not looking forward to playing them with my bowl eligibility on the line.

Mediocre is being generous...but we'll take it. It felt good after that absolute debacle last week.

Nice win over a mediocre team...

albeit one that curb-stomped the wolffies at their own (out)house.

I've seen many a Dook and Bovine fan do the same. Must be a 400 level class in "disappointment" at those schools.

    I liked Lawnmower Man.

Didn't really get it, but liked it nonetheless.

Heels D showed up. Late, but in plenty of time to win the game. Good win for the Heels.

Will the "D" show up tonight or will UVA hang fiddy or more on the Heels?

    Heels by 2 scores!
