I did not blow this off. I read it carefully and concluded there was nothing there in Kane's article. The CBS blogger latched on to the 20+ years and the term "special admits" and equated that to condoning cheating.

Special admits is a problem, but it is the one widely shared. But it is not the same as cheating. I admit that the increased number of very special admits (barely qualifying under NCAA rules) under Davis made the problems noticeably worse regarding football players while the academics gap narrowed for other sports.

I try to be reasonable and to consider the "facts" and allegations from all sides. I posted my critiques of these recent stories over in one of the 20+ years threads. They explain why I see their claims as bogus, not even consistent with parts of the same article.

You seem to be one of the more reasonable Heel fans so I'm suprised to hear you blow this off. Things just took a real turn for the worse at UNC and the NCAA will have to come hard this time to avoid any more problems.

Total fabrication by CBS blogger. "Special admits " go back over 20 years, not any cheating. Blogger lacks reading comprehension skills, but so do you. Have a nice day.

I heard there was an alert for an escaped mental patient and now he shows up here on The Fan. Wow.

the unc backed cheating goes back 20 plus years. SMU was only 12 years. Guess what? If unc gets off lighter than SMU, it will create another SCANDAL. Kiss it good by,spottznut, sassy, thrill. NO FOOTBALL NO BASKETBALL FOR AT LEAST 3 MAYBE........4 OR 5 YEARS. Read it and weep children. Have a nice day,

PS sorry Coach Williams not really sure you deserve this, at least you can take early retirement.
