I'd take that, as long as it was Kim or Kourtney. Khloe looks like Chyna from WWF.

Unless you are one of the really ELITE in the NBA, not very many people know who you are anyway. Your best bet for fame in the NBA is to get tight with one of the Kardasians.

UNC would still not wind up with a premier bowl, so what's the point. Football belongs to some of the other conferences no matter what UNC (or State or Duke or Wake) happen to be.

Money does funny things. I imagine anybody would struggle a little for motivation when you know you get 2 million a year and cannot be fired. Much better players than the ones you named never made it. McCants is fair, but May had knee issues. However your point is valid.

I think it's interesting how professional sports accomplishments (or the lack thereof) quickly eclipse collegiate success. Vince Young is a great example - a fantastic college player who played in one of the most exciting championship games of the modern era, maybe of all time. Now no one could possibly care less - he's just a bum. Sean May (not trying to be mean, seriously) and Rashaad McCants are also prime examples. If you were to tell someone who was not familiar with UNC basketball history that those two guys were star players on an NCAA championship team, the likely response would be "whaaa....?"

Nope, really not being sarcastic. Just giving credit where credit is due - UNC had a very good season, and I honestly think it's a shame that a team deserving a good bowl game can't have one. Gio has all kinds of NFL potential though, so I'm sure he'll put whatever disappointment comes from the lack of a postseason this year behind him rather quickly.

I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic, but in the event you're not, I love Carolina, but they did the "crime" and therefore, must do the "time". It would be very unfair for Carolina to defer their bowl ban just because they had a good season.

God never punished Dean, he's thanking him by painting the sky Carolina Blue.

    (That's Flagship Blue to you.)

Who paid? Duke fans are very curious to know and how you discovered the information the NCAA has no been able to find as of yet.

We already won our bowl game (when Toby punted to Gio), 43-35.

    DERRRRP!!!!!!

Bet he won't punt to him again. (If he gets the chance, that is.)

Yeah, even I, someone who does not particularly care for UNC, must admit that is a shame. If only the NCAA had some way you could "defer" a sanction in the event of an exceptionally good season, this would be a good time to use it. UNC would probably end up in a decent bowl game, and have a good chance of winning it.

..such unpredictability seems to be the ACC norm.
And on another note while the best team in the state may be somewhat debateable as far as total win\loss, as hard as it is for me to say this:
NCST-Lost to UNC, beat Wake (0)
UNC-lost to Duke, Wake (and beat ECU but not a shared opponent) (-2, or -1)
Wake-Beat UNC, lost to Duke (0)
    Duke-beat UNC and Wake (+2)
Generally if Duke wins the State we all need serious help!!!

What is hilarious is that UNC is going to end up with the best regular season record of all N.C. based ACC teams.

    Triangle in football this weekend:

    Maryland @ UNC/ -24.5 UNC, o/u 54
    Miami @ Duke/ Mia+6.5, o/u 66.5
    BC @ NC.State/ NCSU -14.5, o/u 54
    Vanderbuilt @ Wake/ VAN-11.5, o/u 46.5

My opinion? If you bet anything on an ACC game you may as well just throw darts at a board. But is I had to guess I would take Maryland to get under that 24.5, Duke to get under the 6.5 (contingent on a Miami quitfest), State to exceed the 14.5, and Vanderbuilt to exceed the 11.5. But it is the ACC. Impossible to guess who will stink this week. Sure to be somebody.
