Very good season Heels

With all the adversity these Heels had to deal with, new coach and scheme, I feel the Heels had a very good year. I don't think it will be smooth sailing now, but it was a good year all in all. I look forward to a brighter future.

Given the multiple investigations involving the athletic program at UNC-CH I admire your optimism. Can't you see that shoe hanging in the air?

Yep. The sky is not all Carolina Blue. Play hard, make the best of the cards you are dealt and work your way through it. I beleive Carolina learned from their transgressions and will be better for it. I want them to do the right thing and win while doing it.

Lots to be positive about. Looking at the depth chart, a significant number starters are scheduled to return on both sides of the ball.

8-4 with a new coaching staff? Yeah, I'd say that's darn good! The adversity is over, with the exception of a few schollies a year, other than that, Carolina is on the upswing. Not looking so good for the other triangle football teams. Oh well, carry on!

Dr. Feelgood pointed out on another thread that the Heels had over 80 Fr./So. on this years roster. I scanned UNC's roster & didn't realize the Heels were that young. Heel fans have a lot to be excited about moving forward. They had a good year & should improve on that next season.

With there schedule 8 wins is easy. OSU was 12-0 under the same circumstances, and way tougher schedule.
