if that is what you are predicting, then that is what would make me think they will finish better than that....#15msu just beat louisiana-lafeyette by 3 at home, it happens....the key for both teams is THEY WON

    State can barely beat UNC-A.

What makes you think State will finish better than 7-8th in the ACC?

Santa Clara did not either in 2005, but it did not stop UNC from cutting down the nets.
Dook's hot start last season did not stop little Lehigh from smacking them in the head.
    Facts sting sometimes.

Hmm....Butler did not make the top 25 of anything. Sounds like NC State's athletic department most years!

What does Strickland have to do with this conversation? You do realize this thread has nothing to do with Strickland. Butler came to greet us here in the UNC forums.

Dexter Strickland certainly hasn't shown anything but "spirit" all year. I think he'll be back on the bench later this season when they lose at least twice to State, cheerleading with the rest of the "Blue Steel" flunkies.

Butler made the Top 25 of the A-10. #6 to be precise.

What exactly does that have to do with anything? Are you from Butler? UNC played sloppy the entire 1st half, but showed tremendous spirit coming back towards the end of the 2nd half. I am happy they lost that game, gives them some perspective, shows a bunch of young guys they aren't invincible. Tell Butler a UNC fan said hi back, and they played an awesome game.
