Oh no! A teenager acting immature? Get out of here! Did his mother take over the team and ride them to the NIT?

So butthurt by Duke's start to the 2012-13 campaign that the only thing they can do to make themselves feel better is to discuss Austin Rivers' NBA career.

North Carolina dominates Duke to claim ACC title.

    More recently, courtesy ESPN Insider...

Rivers shows minimal game management skills and does not make plays for his teammates. As a result, he is struggling, and there are doubts among evaluators as to whether he will be a productive player, let alone excel in the league.http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/8655612/nba-austin-rivers-legit-player-just-pedigree

    Quite the team player...

Informed early in the week by Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski that he wouldn't start against Wake Forest, Rivers sulked in his room. He didn't want to talk to his mom over the phone. His dad, Doc, tried to discuss a loss the Boston Celtics had just suffered, but Rivers wasn't in the mood for that, either.

"I came to practice the next day blocking people's shots, talking trash, getting in fights with people," he said.

Amazing you know so much about the internal workings and chemistry of Duke teams. Where do you get your information?

All I know is Austin made that 3 over Zeller in the Jason Williams Dome aka 3 Rivers stadium to beat the Holes last year.

Yep, same reason that the KI lead squad was such a failure when K took the team out of the hands of Nolan Smith.

Yes, back to the topic pleeze...

Almost four months after Duke's 2011-12 season ended with a stunning opening-round NCAA tournament loss to 15th-seeded Lehigh, senior guard Seth Curry has an interesting take on why the Blue Devils should do better next year.

Asked by reporter Shawn Krest the biggest difference between the currest Duke team and last year's version, Curry quipped, "we like each other." Curry went on to clarify that it wasn't that the Blue Devils hated each other last season, but they "weren't close like this."

"The biggest thing is trying to be more of a family," Curry added to Blue Devil Nation. "Just get to know each other off the court. This summer we've been really hanging out a lot more and getting to know each other. It seems like everyone likes each other more this year, so it should be a fun year."

Considering Duke lost only a couple players this offseason, it isn't a giant leap to figure out why Curry might find the chemistry different this season. It seems Curry is confirming suspicions that guard Austin Rivers' kockiness and ball-stopping style of play were disruptive for the rest of his Duke teammates.

or we could talk about Sean May, Rashad McCancer and Jawad Williams and Jackie Manuel and the other little short guard from that 2005 team.

Fat Ray Ray is the only one still in the league. Great NBA success you folks are breeding over there.

This thread is about Austin Rivers, not Plumlee. Really difficult for you to stay on topic isnt it.

I wonder if Miles Plumlee was worth the 4 points he has scored so far this season:
