Seriously I would hate to see UNC and Duke be split apart. I may not like Duke, but I respect the program and love the rivalry.

I would think this news would make state college happy.

After all, they've only beaten us roughly once out of every three times they play us in both football and basketball.

Kinda hard to make up that embarrassing deficit if The Flagship packs up and leaves the conference.

I was happy to hear Bubba on WRAL tonight. No way UNC, Duke, State, Wake will ever leave the ACC. At least that's my hope. These 4 teams have roots for 60 years. I would hope that the leaders of these Universities will remember this for a long time. Don't jump for the TV revenues. It will change in time, anyway.

It would make us happy. That way we'd be rid of all of your school's embarassing shenanigans which have become a cancer on academics in the ACC. By all means, don't let the door hit you where the good lord split you.

If you're satisfied with 32-64-6 (in football) and 75-147 (in basketball), fine with us.

Well that can only mean carolina is gone for sure. They haven't told the truth about anything else so why would we expect them to start now. :)

Whenever any person in a position of authority makes such a statement, it usually means just the opposite. Remember when Thorp gave Butch Davis that vote of confidence?

The only question left is will they get to take Swofford with them to be the commish, also. If not they can't afford to leave. It has to be a package deal.
