After we had played cupcakes like our lil sis in Chapel Hill our averages will sky rocket. Do you have any concept on how basketball works. Check back in 3 weeks and be sure to update us on scoring and rebounding averages. LOL, Duke has played the toughest schedule and still ranks 41 in scoring while playing 3 of the best defenses in college. UNC logic. You must be closely related to that other UNC fan that likes to look at stat sheets.

Sorry, Duke fans arent as stoopid as UNCheat fans were last year.

I think this team has a chance at the FF and anything after that is gravy.

And if they lose early, you know what, we will lace em up again next year and give it a shot.

UNC* fans on here are absurd. How can you try to discredit one of Dukes THREE top 5 wins when you haven't even beaten a team that currently has a winning record?

You mean the QUESTIONS we ask you to back up your theories?

    You mean those deflections?

  • DooksucksV3 Nov 30, 2012

UNC fans are realistic about expectations this season.

We know the Heels will be in the NCAA tournament this season, but we are realistic and know that the sweet 16 is probably the absolute best but probably a round before that being likely.

With that being said, the deflections from the Dookies are amazing.

Dook is getting into the "Anything less than a national title is a failure" mode.

or maybe it's just early in the season and they will be fine by March.....isn't that what you've been saying to ease your pain of UNC's past week?

Do you ever take into account the opposition?

It is pretty easy to makes statas lie. You do it all the time.

And just as you Holes always say, who cares if they lose in Jan and Feb. It is March that counts.

I guess this lessens the wins over Ohio St and Louisville as well? Or maybe UNC's blowout losses to Butler and Indiana? What exactly is your point. I'm going to start threads every time Long Beach St loses to someone this season, since that's your best win thus far.

And since Dook now has 8 cupcakes in a row before they play State, it may take a while.

  • DooksucksV3 Nov 30, 2012

Dook has not exactly been an offensive juggernaut nor been particularly good at rebounding so far this season.

Someone is going to get hot against them, more than likely in ACC competition, and they are going to lose.

Dook is currently 41st in points at 77.4 a game and 242nd in rebounds.

I think one of the few teams that would be able to beat Duke is Indiana - if the game were played at Indiana. Duke is very, very good this year. Maybe beating Kentucky isn't such a huge victory for Duke, but they have played the toughest schedule in the ACC this year and they've beaten several top-5 teams.

    I'd love to see a Duke/Indiana match-up.

I agree that by the time the NIT starts UNC will have grown together and be ready to make a deep run. They will probably even get that home court advantage LIKE THEY DID IN 2010.

  • SteveR Nov 30, 2012

Has Duke played any good teams on the opposing teams home court? Kentucky was neutral, Louisville was neutral, and Ohio was at home. I think Duke is playing well this year, but if they played in Ohio I have a feeling they would of gotten blown out again. I'll never know, but it's just a feeling. Kentucky isn't really that good this year, they were ranked as high as they were simply because it's Kentucky. Kentucky is overrated, but will grow by the end of the season just like UNC will grow by the end of the season.

    Speaking of obsession,
Any idea why a unc fan started a thread about someone beating uk?

Well, the game was at notre dame, so there is that connection to unc, since unc sends their booster executives up there all the time to solicite donations.
