Kind of like Miles Plumlee. They have decided they will recall him from the d league to play the next 3 games. So what. You didn't see me over at the Duke forums talking about how Plumlee was demoted to the d leagues. Why didn't I? Two reasons. Number 1 I'm not a pathetic troll and 2 there is nothing to be ashamed about in improving your game. Marshall has talent, but needs help bringing his skills up to the next level. He only played serious minutes for 1.5 seasons with UNC. They felt Plumlee needed help also after spending 4 years with Duke. Yet Plumlee was a good player too, just needs a little help to get to the next level.

Also, just to let you know Plumlee was sent to the d leagues after playing only 4 minutes. I say this because it doesn't matter. Plumlee is a good player, and will probably do well once he gets going. Marshall has serious potential, that is why he was chosen so highly. He just needs time to get to the next level with his game.

Also, just to let you know Plumlee was sent to the d leagues after playing only 4 minutes. I say this because it doesn't matter. Plumlee is a good player, and will probably do well once he gets going. Marshall has serious potential, that is why he was chosen so highly. He just needs time to get to the next level with his game.

I like Marshall but he will never have the defensive foot speed needed to run point in the NBA. Steve Nash is slow on defence but his offensive game makes up for what he lacks. K. Marshall has work to do.

Let's just put the truth out there: both were reasonably good college players, but in the NBA they both suck. You don't see State fans talking about how Julius Hodge "needs a little more time to get it together, and blah, blah, blah..." No. Kendall Marshall and Miles Plumlee both suck, and will never be NBA caliber players, and that's okay. There are great college players (Christian Laettner, Ed Cota, Rodney Monroe), and there are great NBA players (Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant) - success at the collegiate level =/= success in the NBA.
