Nah I highly doubt it. UNC loves Roy, and Roy loves UNC. He will be here until his health can't take it anymore. He just got a clean bill of health, so I expect him to at least finish his contract. I seriously believe he will retire at 69 and he is 61 now.

.... a couple more seasons with no post season other than the NIT, and they may just start holding that tourney in Chapel Hill, yes, Les Robinson will relinquish his moniker to ole' Roy, it's the soon to be named Ole' Roy Mountain Boy Invitational, alright now!

From 1990 to 2009, Williams led his teams at Kansas and North Carolina to 20 consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances and earned at least one victory in each appearance, achieving the all-time record for most consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances with a win.
He has failed one season 2009-2010. I am not concerned about a repeat of that season this year.

Roy is ready to play Golf and be with his two grandchildren and who can blame him for that. Roy will leave way before his contract is up because he hates this cloud that hangs over UNC now.Dan Kane will win this fight with the facts as stated by members of the Carolina family(staff or former players). No they want have a basketball team, UNC will just say we will not continue as a matter of fact let's stop all sports no baseball, football, basketball, softball, etc, etc. Use common sense before you post. Can some of these people on here actually be so ignorant. Hey I retract my statement of use common sense because I read the post on here just to get a good laugh and this thread has made my day. UNC will mature as the season progresses. I doubt Coach Williams will leave this year unless some negative NCAA action comes about due to the academic fraud investigations. I doubt such evidence/actions will occur. Unless he has addtional health issues, Coach Williams will probably be at UNC at least until 2016.
