RE: More On Fedora To Tenn

Wow after 1 yr!! Seems he's just using UNX as a small stepping stone to get to the SEC..

RE: More On Fedora To Tenn

Larry Fedora, North Carolina An industry source tells MrSEC.com that Fedora feels he was misled by the UNC administration regarding the schools NCAA issues and academic requirements. He or his agent began to float his name in connection to a couple of searches and its believed he would seriously consider ditching Chapel Hill after one season. Tennessee is expected to interview one candidate today and both industry and sources in Knoxville tell us Fedora will be that interview.

RE: More On Fedora To Tenn

i'm almost hoping that he does go. this should be a wake up call for the HEELS as to why they should leave the acc. the acc is nothing more than a stepping stone for coaches. the HEELS are already highly competive in all the other sports. now is the time to start getting some of that fball money.

RE: More On Fedora To Tenn

Can he do something like this? He has a contract with UNC.

RE: More On Fedora To Tenn

^^ Contracts are meant to be broken!! lol

RE: More On Fedora To Tenn

Apparently, Arkansas has stolen Wisconsin's coach.

A rumor has arisen from this saying Wiscy is going to steal DD away from State.

Until the dust settles, I just don't even care any more.

EDIT: Never mind. Apparently the DD-to-Wiscy rumors started over at IC. In other words, there is absolutely NOTHING to them!

SEC. ROFL!!!!!!!

They are a football conference. Your school is worse than Vanderbilt.

You would never compete for SEC championship, becasue you could not recurit the talent needed in the SEC. The only ones that do are Alabama, Florida, LSU, Tenn, Georgia and now SC because of Superior. If it was so easy that all you had to be was in the SEC then why is Ole Miss, Miss ST, Auburn and Vanderbilt just to name a few not on the same level of play as the six mentioned first? It has more to do with the school name and there football tradition! Ask Kentucky why they stink at football? Better try the Big 10! Or just be happy you might get to compete for an ACC championship.

Re-posting, since there are currently THREE Fedora/Tennessee blogs...

i think that you could get lucky every once in a while and compete for a sec championship. i think we have the talent in nc to provide state or unc with the necessary talent to compete. if state or unc jumped to sec or even the big 10, we would start keeping a lot of instate talent here. i think the first school that jumps gets to call checkmate on the state of nc.
