Check out the recipes and special drinks. Haggis on the Beach , etc.

Cases of whisky are among the prizes. Hard to "Trump" that.

Looks like you have avoided the badger cull this season.

Now it's haggis season in Scotland. haggishunt.com That's what you get with too much whisky and not enough day light.

True, but at least most of us here are not even talking about Roy any more. That was the early posts, mostly.

Given his health this past year, it is not funny to joke about Roy developing a medical problem.

It is also against the terms of service for this site.

IIRC, that was the last time State won at Cameron Indoor. I actually went out there and scalped some tickets with a Duke friend of mine. It's the only game I've ever seen in Cameron. I picked a good one!

Pretty sure Duke didn't go to the postseason that year.

or he he at least had a team that didn't scuk. that team, if I remember correctly, didn't even receive a NIT bid, let alone becoming the NIT runner up!

I don't think K faked anything. But I do think the TIMING of that was very intentional. If he thought he had a national championship contender, he absolutely would have continued coaching and had his surgery in early April.

    No doubt about it.

Not a winning rebuttal. Sorry. The first 12 games of a season are normally full of cupcakes. If anything, this is an argument AGAINST coach K. It makes it appear that he wanted to rack up as many wins as he could before the losses started piling up.

It appears that K wasn't willing to share even the cupcakes with poor ole Pete.

Duke was 9-3 at the time K had his surgery. Anything else.

yes, funny how that timing worked out when dook had a really bad team. Go ask Pete what he thinks about it.

The timing of coach K's back surgery was definitely... SUSPECT. He conveniently gained something from being out that season. So I understand why opposing fans would question it.

But it's hypocritical for Carolina fans to act like smoke leads to fire... when there has been NOTHING BUT SMOKE (and a little fire, too!) in Chapel Hill for the last 2-3 years.

Yes, it was a total FAKE back injury. The weasel even went as far as to have a FAKE surgery on it.

  • SilentSam Dec 5, 2012

I'd be ashamed and embarrassed if he faked a back injury, and quit on his team, just to transfer any losses to an assistant coach who made about .05% of his salary.

Dookies wouldn't, but I sure would.

    Maybe that's just me.
