    Pretty relevant, since it perfectly illustrated the inflexibility that helped lead to TOB's firing.

    Still laughing at the post where someone said the Tennessee job would be a step backwards from Carolina! You guys are truly priceless sometimes!

    If Fedora was offered, he'd have been outta there before you could say "Where's the hat?" That is how you know he either didn't interview, or was not offered.

    Dick Sheridan might have been one of the best coaches EVER in the ACC! If he had the facilities that Amato and TOB had he would have won 10+ games a year. Also a very good guy! Never wanted the spotlight.......just won!

    State College hasn't had a history of success against Carolina on the field or in the classroom! They have resorted to slander on message boards and childish accusations!

    To be so jealous of a University that CLEARLY ranks ahead of you in athletics and academics is normal I GUESS but to have the amount of bitterness this fanbase has is just insane!

    Hatred = Envy

    Guess UNC fans should be flattered!

    Oh I agree. It's totally logical that Tenn didn't offer Fedora, Gundy, or Strong the job. It's all part of their logical game. Like I said, they are holding out for Toby. By god, they've got their sights set on finishing in the top half of their division.

    And yes, it works out just perfectly for the Wolfpack fan. That's why they've been so snarky about the possibility of Fedora leaving the past few days. So they could sneak in at the last second and be even more snarky about him NOT leaving. It's logic.

    No, Tennessee most likely didn't even offer it to him. Coaches play these games to try to work themselves raises. If they offered him the big bucks they were supposedly offering the GOOD coaches on their list, no way Fedora turns that down.

    It's logic. Try using it sometime.

    I'm happy with this. Carolina gets to keep their mediocre Hat, but the seed of doubt has been planted. Fedora now has the stigma of a coach looking to hop to another level (legit or not). Should be a nice little tool to use against him in recruiting.

    (I knew it would come. The first of many justifications, no doubt.)

    Tennessee OBVIOUSLY turned him down. The Vols are clearly in a position to be particularly choosy. Probably holding out for Toby.
