And Dook played a very weak Temple team and has already been proven to have not played anyone when they played Kentucky.

And yet again, nothing will happen NCAA wise, no additional sanctions will be put into place etc.

I understand that you Wolfies have to keep it going since your basketball team has proven to be weak yet again, but this is just sad.

At least you were smart enough to not jump on the Fedora rumors this past week lest you would have gone to 0-6 instead of your current 0-5.

Oh yes, what a revelation; there were too many athletes in AFAM Independent Studies courses in the first part of the 2000s. No BB enrollments in such courses since 2006. Heavens! Still too many basketball players in Independent Studies courses until 2009; then enrollment plummeted. Oh my! The Horror!

When NCSU peeks under its own tent, or Dan Kane gets off his rear end and does so, or there is a comparison done amongst all DIV I schools, wake me up.

Just read it after seeing you comment. Only thing really new is Martin report coming out on Dec 20 and comment related to that regarding the 2006 NYT article regarding Auburn. Everything else in the article has been known and reported previously, though maybe not in the exact same order(!). At least this article is not deliberately fraudulent like the Willingham one a few weeks ago that had to be rewritten several times in 18 hours as Kane was called out for misrepresenting her situation and quotes. (New allegations were really the well know issue regarding Wiley.)

Kane strings together the already well-known and investigated problems trying to make something new out of them. Even something like 39 enrollments by basketball players (in 5-6 years) sounds worse than when spread out as individual students in courses over 15-18 academic sessions (semesters or SS). That is 2-3 students per semester!

But all of this has been reported for some time. The other misleading aspect of Kane's is the timeline regarding who was in which academic admin position at what time, seemingly a continuing effort to make it appear to have been under Thorp's watch at A&S and as Chancelor, when it was actually prior to that.
