Virginia Tech loses to West VIrginia

I really thought that Tech was going to win this one, but their lack of a bench came back to haunt them:

I still think that they have a great shot of making the NCAA tournament this season barring injuries.

I think that Tech and a now complete Miami team should make some noise for the conference.

VT forgot how to play defense yesterday to allow him to drive to the basket. The defender on the wing just looked at him go by for the layup. VT didn't need to call TO with 5 seconds either. He should have allowed Green to keep going. We lost 2 seconds because of this.

VT played great at times. They had too many mental laspse' as I stated. We don't have but 7 players that play most of the game. I do like the energy and hustle of this team. Mistakes. Mistakes from players and coaches alike. I still think they are playing better vs several past years. Johnson has these guys running and we have been successful. One play or two away from beating them in their house. It isn't easy to do this. VT is better than the 10th ranked team in the ACC.
