You might want to re-read Kane's article. That isn't what was said. I admit you have to be extremely careful when reading anything written by Kane. He strings ideas, opinions, and supposed facts together trying to support his hypothesis. But he really needs an editor (sort of like a tutor, but something real newspapers used to have). He doesn't properly identify his sources, and tends to attribute his ideas as facts, while often mixing up the sources for his various "facts". Citing your own opinion in an earlier article still does not qualify it as a fact.

maybe but he's interviewing UNCs current staff members that admitted most of the details. " No comment " has become the only answer given from from Carolina when new stuff pops up.
