In your fantasyland that would be true. For the rest of us over here in reality, the Lance Thomas thing hasn't been discussed in over 2 months. But I'm sure that won't stop you from fantasizing more and more each day as it gets closer to Dec 20th.

I keep forgetting how young and immature some of you are. I know you can't help.

BM Payne, et al, this would be a good way to reconnect with your loving families while learning something at the same time. I understand rebelling against the Tar Heel family norm, even going over to the darker side. It's ok. When you talk to family and friends who are in their 60's and older, expect them to remember very well.

I clearly stated that these were events whose impact was centered in NC and not more-widely. I never brought up wars, but your discussions make me think, "Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?"

No one cares about State athletics. That said, the News and Observer submitted a FOIA request to State a while ago and State hasn't responded yet.

As far as no-show classes go though, look no further than State's quarterback, Mike Glennon. He took all online classes last year and took them again this year, meaning that he literally never had to show up on campus except for practice and games.

Ahhh..so "The Media" is STILL controlled by UNC...when it's convenient for you to say so? (i.e., when "The Media" reports something that upsets you, or that spins something positively for The Flagship.)

Are all dookies really this naive about the workings of "The UNC-Controlled Media"?

UNC does still "Control the Media", right?

Duke isn't subject to the same public records laws that UNC is, given that Duke is a private institution. So, we'll likely never know how Duke keeps their athletes eligible. Not that there is anything wrong with having easier classes for them.
