UNC football team to the

RE: UNC football team to the

We have multiple national championships in lacrosse. If that equates to being nonrelevant to you, then NC State's entire athletic department is nonexistent as they haven't won a team national title in any sport since the 1980s.

Funny, because that's the last time your lacrosse team won a natty as well.

Oh. So sorry, 1991. Close enough.

You were wrong before, but I will admit it has been too long since UNC won another lacrosse championship. But Carolina is still relevant. This year, UNC is preseason ranked #5 behind Loyola, MD, ND, and Duke.

In total, UNC has won 4 lacrosse championships; Duke, 1; Maryland, 2; Virginia, 5. Syracuse has the most wins at 10, followed by Johns Hopkins.

ETA. UNC women are preseason #4 in lax, Duke #5.

State discontinued lax as a varsity sport in 1982 for financial reasons. They actually had a pretty good team, lead by one of the top players in the country, who led Syracuse to the NC in 1983.

You mean facts that you were wrong about Orange County Remedial's relevancy in lacrosse? You knock NCSU for not being relevant in basketball since their championships were so far back. Please take a look at ewenc's titles. Pre-season you are ranked 4th. Our b-ball was ranked 6th, and you claimed we're not relevant.

Enjoy your crow, sport!

Yeah I know about NCSU's lax team. It's a shame. I was friends with a number of the kids on the club team when I attended. Still go to games once in a while.
