Come on. How is State still ranked TBK? To go from 6th to 25th. State isn't all that....you'll see when the ACC schedule begins. UNC isn't much in their ranking either. Both team are over-rated. UNC was lucky with free throws because ECU had to foul. 4 pts away in the closing seconds.

I wrote on here that State should win the Conference before the season began. I was wrong then. I'm retracting this statement. They have a lot of work in front of them after seeing these early games. They shot 57% against Norfork. Duke is heads above all teams. Better watch out for a few other teams too right now. Several teams are playing tough b'ball.

Unc will have struggles this year. Paige has a ways to go and it is only gonna get tougher when he starts facing seasoned acc guards. Long season ahead.

I think you are being generous unless something changes VERY SOON! I'm thinking closer to 12-14 unless the ACC is as weak as I think it might be. We shall see!

ECU must be really good just like Butler huh? UNC will probably lose 10 games minimum this year.

I see SilentSam only missed his prediction by 29 points this time. You're gettin' better at this SS! Keep it up! What have you got the line for on UNC's next game?

Because the ranking mean nothing. Well, they do, but not right now. Kentucky ranked in the top 10 at the beginning of the year. State ranked 6th. Butler unranked, explain that one. You know they beat Indiana with 3 of their starters on the bench. A walkon hit the winning shot.

State is still getting their act together. But wow, Carolina is pretty awful. How are they even ranked at all?

^True. Not only that, Roy Williams is not going to run a former Heel player out of the gym.

UNC let up off the gas. Hey UNC you are not good enough to let up on anyone. Thanks for letting up on Butler, and Indiana!

You are right, and that is the reason they have lost 2 games this year. I still think they would of probably lost the Indiana game no matter what, but not as bad as they did. It was the worst in UNC history.

Exactly. They didn't play with the level of intensity they are capable of. They have been playing one half or the other, and they are getting better.

Is that what happened in the 1st half against Butler? They just put the brakes on until Butler went up 60-31 before they decided to start playing?

Unfortunately they have to play the entire game each time.

Yes they scored 61 points in the second half, yet my point still stands. If UNC plays like they did in the first half they are tough to beat. They have the talent, but also have an issue with playing the whole game. I notice they usually play really great one half then the other half they put on the breaks. They just have to learn to play the same level of intensity the entire game. This team is coming together nicely, and I expect a very good season.

Good game for the tar heels. They let off the gas towards the end, but still showed the type of talent this team has when they play together. If they play like they did the first half this will be a hard to beat team, the second half not as much.
