but we all thought you had the superstar veteran team with lil doc rivers and the best coach in all the world????

so what happened if it wasn't another flame out?

No matter how many times they say it, no one else that follows college basketball will ever believe an early loss in the ncaa is WORSE than the NIT, I am sorry but the NIT is always worse, just how it is lil bro.

If Duke losing in the sweet 16 and even to Lehigh in the first round is a "flame out" then UNC not making the NIT (8-20 year) or making the NIT final after a NT is a nuclear meltdown.

I mean he did think losing to FSU was bad enough to abandon ship and walk out on his players.

You know nothing about sports if you really belive that. Ask Roy Williams what he thinks is worse and I'm sure you'll be shocked. Roy isn't even that dumb.

Dook losing to Lehigh in the first round is NOT better than being in the NIT. They didn't deserve the spot in the Big Dance with that kind of play. Should've let another bubble team in so they can look like they actually belonged.

Weren't you arrested at the mall for looking up skirts one time. Be careful you don't get that probation revoked again.

It also hasn't stopped teams from beating UNC in the NIT. Is that better or worse than than losing in the real tournament? Your answer will determine how smart you really are so take off those pansy blue glasses for a second and think rationally. Prove us wrong please!!

    Mehh...

That has not kept lower ranked teams from sending dook home from the Big Dance early (7 Sour Sixteen Flameouts in the most recent 8 seasons).

Correction, they're looking up in Duke's direction but the view is blocked by 21 other teams better than them.

http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/powerrankingsBeating ECU by 6 gets UNC back in from NR (not ranked) to 25. They are exceeding the pollsters expectations with a 6 point win over ECU.

What was the bigger problem in the Tar Heels' six point win over ECU: the fact that the Pirates scored 61 second-half points or the fact that no UNC post player managed an offensive rebound the entire game? Coach Roy Williams wasn't happy with either, as he tries to figure out who should start at center.
