UNC back in ESPN power rankings

Beating ECU by 6 gets UNC back in from NR (not ranked) to 25. They are exceeding the pollsters expectations with a 6 point win over ECU.

What was the bigger problem in the Tar Heels' six point win over ECU: the fact that the Pirates scored 61 second-half points or the fact that no UNC post player managed an offensive rebound the entire game? Coach Roy Williams wasn't happy with either, as he tries to figure out who should start at center.

Correction, they're looking up in Duke's direction but the view is blocked by 21 other teams better than them.

That has not kept lower ranked teams from sending dook home from the Big Dance early (7 Sour Sixteen Flameouts in the most recent 8 seasons).

Dook losing to Lehigh in the first round is NOT better than being in the NIT. They didn't deserve the spot in the Big Dance with that kind of play. Should've let another bubble team in so they can look like they actually belonged.
