If UNC Loses to Texas...
Just go ahead and book your tickets to Madison Square Garden for the NIT semifinals. Texas is horrible and has already lost to CHAMINADE, USC, UCLA and Georgetown. They also squeeked by Fresno St by 2pts, and beat Texas St by 12 last week. They have nothing even close to resembling a quality win, similar to UNC.
If UNC doesn't beat Texas by 20+, they will be a NIT team. Texas is doodoo.

Texas ranked #2 in NCAA for defense...holding teams to 33.1% and allowing 57.7 points pre game. Kabongo's fate is still being held up with the NCAA (10 weeks now)and Bond is not expected to play, but either of those may change at anytime. Texas has 7 freshman, 5 soph, and 2 seniors. In an away game against a very tough defense, I would give the edge to Texas. Not by much mind you, but in their last game against Texas State, they seemed to be finding out how to play together. It will be an ugly game.

Not as much as that Stanford game is going to do for Heel fans. And we cannot wait to see the Vandy whipping of state kollege.....great way to start the new year!

Stanford is at 9pm tonight. Watch it and tremble at the thoughts of facing this Wolfpack team!
Last year, Stanford beat us on their court by four points, but they had to finish on a 17-1 run to accomplish that. And we're much better than we were at that point in the season last year.
Looking forward to some nice revenge tonight!

Texas and Unc look very similar at this point, young and inexperienced. If they get kabongo back before they play unc, texas wins. Otherwise it can go either way.

Texas has a long way to go based upon when I saw them lose to some much lessor teams. UNC will have to get better on defense to retain the 19th spot.
