It looks as though I gave you guys way too much credit for being true fans instead of haters. This kid is 10 games into his college career and you are already predicting his future? Come on guys! You have better sense than that! SMH.

I would say yes. But the only reason why I can't is because Roy is hitting the recruiting trail hard in search of a point guard.

It makes complete sense to do that. Dexter will be gone next year, so that leaves Paige and Davis. I think they need a better 1-2 punch than that.

We didn't much care for Jimmy Black or Derrick Phelps 10 games into their freshman seasons, either. Paige is light-years ahead of them at this stage...and both walked away with National Championship rings, and lots of dookie and state college tears in their wake LOL

(ABC'ers have no real context for this kind of stuff though, poor things.)

I recall this exact conversation about both Lawson and Felton. The question should just be put up as " How come your PG is not great before he has even learned the game." I remeber how many State fans were convinced the L.Brown was not going to cut it also.

I think theres multiple ways to look at this. Can he be an elite pg? Absolutely! By Carolina standards.........we shall see! Thats a high standard. I'm not sure ABC fans are saying "no" because they are hating on him, they just know that an elite pg at Carolina is special as history has shown us.

My opinion is that he needs to bulk up.......AND..........possibly have a better support system around him. Marshall had ELITE talent around him (NBA) so he wasn't expected to do anything except get the ball to the right players in the right place on the floor. So its comparing apples to oranges.

Most players develop the most between their freshman and sophomore years! I hope this trend continues with him!
