Lack of talent? Or bad coaching?

RE: Lack of talent? Or bad coaching?

Shame on you. 2 NT's say what? The same cannot be said for any of your most recent coaches. Beat UNC and then you may possibly have an argument!

Roy won championships despite being a bad coach because there was no lack of talent in those years. (I assume we're talking about in-game coaching here, not recruiting...) Roy is a terrible in-game coach. It is just USUALLY masked by the abundance of talent and the UNC refs that bleed Carolina blue (they are the only reason Carolina kept THIS game close!)

This year, there is a lack of talent, and bad coaching.

I absolutely CANNOT WAIT until we play this year. I wish it was this Saturday!

Well was near loss to UNCA lack of talent or bad coaching?

You mean, the WIN over UNCA?

It was a trap game, since you asked. The next game was AT MICHIGAN. We thought we had a cakewalk, and UNCA came in shooting lights out.

But we still won. At least with State, we only have that ugly win and the ugly loss to Oklahoma State. If you're honest, you'll just admit Carolina has looked bad against every decent team they've played (which hasn't been many). Even the IC meltdowners are already talking NIT for the Holes.

RE: Lack of talent? Or bad coaching?

I would say its coaching. By looking at the score, there is no way this team should get blown out by Texas.

It's well known that recruits get bumped in their "star ratings" when they choose Carolina. They also get invitations to the All-Hamburger game. Commit to State, though, and your ratings go down and you don't get invited.

That's how it works. Carolina has JMM this year. That's about it.

That was true when Sidney Lowe was the coach. If you were a recruiting agency and a player committed to Sidney Lowe would you not figure that his talent would decrease?

That's plain stupid TBK. The big 3 recruit mostly the same players. So, if Barnes had gone to State, he would not have been a 5 Star recruit?
