The fact that one of the first things out of Martin's mouth was "This is not an athletic scandal..." tells you all you need to know about the true purpose of his efforts. This was about identifying what needed to be stated in order to keep the NCAA off the hill.

So sorry poor wuffie, but it is clearly the local and national media that are involved in a conspiracy against my beloved flagship. Dan Kane hates unc and the n&o can't stand our dominance.
