Nuggets guard Ty Lawson returns from rib fracture and 9-game absence to score 31 points and dish out 11 assists.

Unfortunately, it was not quite enough to get the win over K.Love and the T-wolves.

So you think a starter on the NBA all star team cost him his job? Really?? Wow, I am now starting to believe that you did forget to save for your kids college.

for the sake of those dookies that have placed Kyrie on the pinnacle...

let's pray he does not reach his max frustration point and punch the wall.

Much like BJ Armstrong led that ragtag crew of Jordan, Pippen, and Grant to the 1993 title.

http://nba.si.com/2014/02/06/reports-cavaliers-fire-gm-chris-grant/Kyrie Irving remains a top-level prospect, but this is a team that had four top-four picks in three seasons. Of the others, Tristan Thompson (No. 4 in 2011) is the best of the bunch, and is a useful but limited player. Things got messy, though, in selecting Dion Waiters (No. 4 in 2012) and Anthony Bennett (No. 1 in 2013), the former of which is a on and off-court problem while the latter is in the midst of a historically miserable rookie season. Both still have plenty of time to turn things around, but there’s something to be said about underwhelming returns on three straight picks of such incredible value.

It doesn’t help matters that neither of Grant’s other first round picks — Tyler Zeller (No. 17 in 2012) and Sergey Karasev (No. 19 in 2013) — have redeemed much at all to date.

so...any bragging about playoff virgin Kyrie is rather ludicrous.

Given there are 30 teams in the NBA and 16 (ie more than HALF) make the playoffs...Bragging about making the playoffs is like a college team bragging that they were "led" to the CBI tourney (or the NIT in the case of UNC in recent seasons)...

Led, really. Is that because they are the PG or are you saying they are the star and the team would not have made the playoffs without them?

Lawson & Felton have led teams to the NBA playoffs...

is there a dookie or wolffie currently on an NBA roster that can say the same?

Ty Lawson shot 1-of-7 from the field for three points with three rebounds and one assist in 28 minutes against the Grizzles on Saturday.

This was his worst game of the year and his bad shooting night dropped his season percentage to just 40.8 percent.
