UNC Drops from AP/ESPN Polls, ESPN Power Rankings

It's official. UNC is now unranked in both the ESPN/USA Today and AP Polls, as well as being unmentioned in ESPN's Power Rankings.

At this point, would a NIT Finals birth be a successful season?

That was a hard year...this team really has to step up on toughness and making smart passes but I think they can do it...the ACC looks kinda weak below Duke and State (yes, including my Heels) but I think Carolina can pick up enough ACC wins to get in the Big Dance.

No worries we will be ranked again next week. Not that it matters but some people seem to put a lot of energy into worrying about such trivial things.

If UNC beats UNLV, I will take them seriously. Until then, they are a mediocre team with McNeese St as their highest RPI win. Laughable.

McNeese State and ECU are their "best wins". That's why I think they lose heinously to UNLV.

That's fine. I truly believe UNC will pull out the win. If they bring their A game then yes they easily have the talent to pull it off. Am I 100% certain? No because this team hasn't been consistent, but I still think they can win this game. If I'm wrong, then no biggie, it's just a game to me.
