There was no such exposure. Martin countered Kane's 3 FAC members with 4 others. If anything it shows there is a split in opinion among the Faculty Athletic Committee members. This should have been a unified group. Martin sided with those who confirmed his report, whereas, Kane sided with those who didn't. Martin made a good counter-point but ironically didn't follow his own advice when stating a need for skepticism about motives of the accusers.

The only person Martin came close to nuking was UNC's own prof Jay Smith. Martin stated my judgement was that he was not a useful source.

Also, Martin offered no comments on brushing aside whistleblowers Mary Willingham and Richard Southall UNC employees who have been getting press with CBS Sports and ESPN.

Sorry little one you spent too much time in swahili class. Reread the article. Martin said he talked with people he did not trust,then used those people to draw a conclusion. He did not speak with people who did know,or those terminated. He purposely avoided the truth. How dumb can you get than attack the media for being honest while you are try and sell a bag of goods full of holes and stinking to high heaven.

Except for the fact that Kane lied about the discussions not being noted in minutes, when they clearly were, which multiple witnesses confirmed.

I sense a libel suit coming soon. Kane will probably have to fork over some of that PP donation money.

Martin: "The minutes of that meeting clearly state that this subject was discussed, and there is an appended �Report on Independent Studies.� For our part, we relied on this and four witnesses who were there and affirmed it happened, plus a later conversation with a participant who did not deny it."

Kane previously reported that there was no mention of it in meeting minutes. Apparently facts are being distorted by disregard for truthful reporting in order to fit Pack Pride's (I mean N&O) agenda.
