I'm a Michigan fan in addition to NCSU, so I have to pull for the Irish. Loved that football rivalry. That and I dislike Nick Saban.

Only problem is ESPN, "the media", controls the message and will tell you what you should think and who you should cheer for. Ever since they did the contract with the SEC, it's been nothing but excessive cronyism and rampant favoritism with coverage time and hype.

I agree whole heartly with your post. The SEC rants how great they are and they are 3-3. If that was the case they would be undefeated in bowl games every year!

Odd that the two bad conferences are a combined 7 and 3 in the bowl games while the obviously best conference is 3 and 3 right now. Hype should not determine the rankings but it does. The so called eye test needs glasses. But, next year the SEC will start of with 5 out of the top 10 and play only each other and simply change places when one or the other loses. It is time for this charade to end.

Charlie Strong showed us last night what a coach can do to influence his players. He beat a #4 team with players that had it dialed in mentally. To see Strong with his wife, and family members spelled it out for me. Quality people always rise above. Muschamp will have to answer if he doesn't have a solid next season.

They were this year and I hope that it trends towards the ACC and others being more on a level field with the SEC. The SEC still gets the lions share of top recruits for now, but all things cycle and come back around. I thought Strong staying in Louisville and turning down TN was an eye opener for recruits that realize if you are not playing for one of the top 3-4 SEC teams, look elsewhere.

L'Ville was ranked #22, and Florida was ranked #4. They won by 10. I see this one a being pretty strong. UNC played with L'Ville, and was maybe a play or two away from beating them. L'Ville is pretty darn good. 11-2 is out there.
