RE: Dan Kane just nuked Gov. Martin
there are many probable scenarios that would keep this scandal going for months or years to come, simultaneously keeping UNC unable to move on.
^^ABC'ers remind me of the little Japanese man who hid out in the jungle, isolated and alone for decades, thinking World War II never ended.
(Wasn't there an episode of Gilligan's Island about that?)
Poor state college ABC'ers.

Oh, please share the links from those publications. Would love to read their reviews.
Thanks in advance!

I suppose I could pull a 'thrill and say find the links yourself, but here's a head-start:
http://www.forbes.com/sites/darrenheitner/2013/01/02/university-of-north-carolinas-fraud-running-deeper/I'm sure the SBI agent who's been on UNC full-time for nearly a year is going to be quietly walking away from all of this too. And I'm sure Willingham was the only one who was willing to talk.

Thanks....basically that article is just a reprint of what Kane alledged in his article.
I'll wait to see what the SBI has to say when the investigation is complete. I'm sure there will be criminal charges for the AA Studies Head and Administrator.
Time will tell.

Your point was that UNC was in the process of moving on. They have been trying to move that process forward for nearly 3 years - wanting it to be over and trying to move on. This is not even close to being over with the attention the scandal is getting and with the investigations still taking place. You are an intelligent person and should be able to see that there are many probable scenarios that would keep this scandal going for months or years to come, simultaneously keeping UNC unable to move on.

Well, the only thing I can agree with is the part about my being an intelligent person and I do appreciate that.
Again, I have no idea what will happen next, hence my comment about time will tell. Until then, I'm not going to worry about the "cloud of doubt" that the ABC'ers and Red Ragers hope for.
I'll wait to see what actually happens.

Oh ok. I figured you'd also agree with me that your initial point was that UNC was moving on and that the scandal has been going on for nearly 3 years too. I would think that if you're still having to wait to see what happens next, you aren't in any position to move on.
RE: Dan Kane just nuked Gov. Martin
Personally, I never let anonymous, delusional, and in some cases mentally challenged strangers on the internet dictate what I should do, or how I should feel, in any given situation, under any circumstances.
(No matter how urgently they counsel me on those very things.)
I like to make those calls for myself.
Hey, maybe that's just me.

Well, yes, it has been going on for almost three years, still remember where I was when I saw the ESPN scroll that UNC's football program was being investigated. Love Vegas.
And, from the UNC perspective, we are moving on. The NCAA has been here, the Martin report is issued, what else should we do? As much as there are scenarios for things getting worse, there are also scenarios for things being over.
The ABC'ers and Red Ragers want this to drag on. The folks at UNC want it to be over.
Only time will tell who will get their wish.
