Will unc be kicked out of the ACC? Gov martin says We found evidence of a serious academic fraud and reported it two weeks ago.

there are much larger questions to be asked and answered, we still don't talk about the elephant in the room. Why was it done and to what end? it's difficult for me to believe the AFAM department changed grades, forged signature of teacher for little betty lou backwater from selme, nc.

You are correct. The academic administration should have kept closer tabs on the AFAM department and that is why I agree that Thorpe should have stepped down. There are perhaps some other administrators who should be held responsible as well but those are internal issues for the new UNC leadership to address.

i think i will continue to spell academic incorrectly after your response back to me.... wow, just wow!

what a joke you are. the two people responsible....."reality check needed on aisle 3"

What happened at UNC does not get a pass. I hope the two people responsible for the academic fraud are punished to the fullest extent possible. But, whatever happens to them will have no impact on those who graduated since 1997, or to those of us who graduated long before. I don't demand perfection from the university because perfection is impossible. I do expect them to do much better, and I am certain they will.
Now, if you want to bitch and moan about academic fraud, you'd better be able to spell it. It will make you look like less a fool.

Back on topic, they should be immediately. ;)

you are correct i have spelled it incorrectly, twice!! hence forward i will spell check all future post. i now realize how important it is to be 100 percent correct when blogging on this site. with that said, why does my miss spelling of ACADEMIC raise such ire, and what has happened at UNC get a pass? why don't you seek or desire the answers to the hard questions i asked i my opening statements? all that matters is my misspelling and a chance to divert attention to those question, to deflect from any substance of those questions by ridiculing myself and nc state. why not demand the answers? Why don't you demand the same perfection from the university you love so dearly, as you do from me a total stranger with whom you have no emotional tie. i will apologise ahead of time for any gramatical or spelling errors.

You've spelled academic two different ways so far (both wrong). Want to go for the Triple Crown? Somebody committed academic fraud when they let you graduate high school. But, I bet you're an honor grad from NC State.
