it dont matter if they won 8 games in a row they still cant make it because of all the losses

Short answer, No. Not even close. NIT appearance would be considered a Win at this point for Roy & The Gang.

I seriously doubt they will make the tournament this year. Roy continues to raise the white flag by starting Hubert! Absolutely nothing there at all. Play your best players and give yourself a chance.

Before all the Carolina fans get on here deflecting or giving stup!d answers to this question let me stop you now! This teams young but they aren't the only young team in the country or in years past. No excuse. There are other teams that lose top talent and remain competitive the following year. Coach K and Dean always compete/competed no matter what the roster looks like!

I think Roy is a good coach and he has two National Championships to back it up and a high winning percentage! But two NIT appearances during the same time with several burger boys is crazy! You can't be stubborn and not change with the times and your roster! Playing for next year is lame just in case someone brings that up!

Roy coaches run, run, run but this team cant afford to run.
they give up way to many 2nd chance points, offensive rebounds
Terrible 3 point shooting
terrible floor spacing
no offensive flow
they dont have one player than drive and create his own shot
poor f/t shooting transition defense slow foot speed can not move lateral TURNOVERS TURNOVERS TURNOVERS No help from the # 5 spot physically they look tired every game. Been watching Carolina for 44 years. they are NIT BOUND at best unless Roy can flip a switch. He doesnt have the ballers to win NOW
