Because he didn't want to take a pay cut. :)

But seriously, would they ask him about that? Why he didn't come out earlier? Why would they even care?

And he will be asked repeatedly about why he didn't come out after his freshman year. Should be some fun interviews for unc nation.

Political response deleted. Let's keep this about sports. Political debates on sports blogs just irritate EVERYBODY.

Actually you said something to the effect of Romney "wiping the floor" with Obama. Wouldn't expect an ABC'er weasel to own up to it, though.

Sorry 2012 turned out to be such a disappointment for ya! LOL

(43-35 and Governor Martin both say "Hi" lolol)

He won't be gone if he has crippled his draft status.

JMM is GONE after this season. It makes you wonder if has something to do with the chemistry problems as well, maybe feels upset that he didnt leave when he should have. With Hicks coming and UNC fans begging for Wiggins, JMM sees the writing on the wall.

No, we said Fedora WANTED to leave. Not our fault he didn't get the offer.

And I never said Romney would be our next president. I said he SHOULD be our next president. "Would" and "should" are spelled similarly, so I would expect a simpleton to get them confused.

Will he, though? Or has he been exposed and will make a lot less than he would have had he entered the draft last year when his stock was higher? Methinks he'll end up regretting that decision. Probably is already, since he knows his team isn't going to amount to squat this season. Return for a championship of some kind, understandable. Return to stink it up and hurt your draft status, unthinkable.

If you think James Michael McAdoo is hanging around another year, I have a head coaching job for Toby at an SEC school I'd love to sell you.

Yet, he will still make millions in the NBA. I would not call that BLOWING IT, unless he spends all of the money he makes.

So he has to stay YET ANOTHER season. That's two years he could have been playing in the NBA.

    He blew it.

Once Henson left, I knew he would struggle down low without a true center. He has to play out of posiition most of the time because he is the only low post scorer on the team. That will all change next season!

Not really. He will have help in the post next Season. That will alleviate some of the stress put on him and allow him to flourish in his natural role. In addition, it will make the Heels even more competitive.

Once again the ole Badger was right. I said McAdoo should go pro while the goin's good. And he stayed. Dumb decision. He was set for life after a season in which he played about 5 minutes a game. Now he's a starter and has been exposed as just average.

    McAdoo blew it.

The good news for Carolina is he will be back next year for sure. By now he's off the NBA scouts radar. Maybe some additional talent coming in will help him. Smh!

Question for fans of college basketball. (And be realistic). Watching the heels play and hearing all the hype of how great JMM was and was going to be this year, I cant see where hes any better or even equal to some of the greats that have come through the ACC. Is there a chance that last years team with all the talent and real quality players made McAdoo look better than he really is? Surrounding a mediocre player with great players can give the illusion that everybody is good. So, Is he a McAdoo or a McAdont?
