I guess this is supposed to scare their future opponents into thinking that NOW they are getting their act together. OOOH! SCARY!!!

Or maybe it is a player only meeting so they can coach themselves. If they improve their lousy coaching that they're getting from Roy, maybe they can improve their game!

Edit: McDonald, not Strickland. I get them confused since they are both over-hyped seniors that have no chance at playing pro next year.

LOL. I think that was a "parents-only" meeting. Well, they probably invited the AD and Dean Smith.

Actually it's a players only meeting to discuss their classwork load and to work on scheduling classes for the following semester. Since (according to former Gov Martin) there is no one there to guide athletes to these easy, no-show classes, they have to take extra time to plan their schedules onm their own. There may have even been some studying going on!!! Right.

Such a preponderance of negativity. I would think this is a very positive step by the players to take ownership in their team and its cohesiveness and success. Instead all of you make fun of them. That is the big negative I have found since reviewing this groups interaction for the past several weeks. Most of you love to tear someone or something down but few of you are truely encouraging of teams, schools and players. Indeed I do lean towards Carolina however I also can and do say positive things about the other conference teams and players. I have noticed also that using today as an example the NCSU fans have been posting all over the Carolina site however even with a conference game tonight they have said little to nothing about their game. I would have really imagined that this would be the main purpose in a sporting forum or group forming. Apparently not here. This is very interesting behavior to observe. As I mentioned earlier some of you are really interesting to watch such as TB in NC, Truthbknownreturn, 903 Wahoowa. You guys particularly shine out as posting negatively and spending the majority of your time on other team sites versus your own teams. Continue gentlemen as you are helping me with my school work for this semester. I will continue to observe and comment sometimes though not frequently. If I have offended any of you let me say I am sorry at this time.

And yet, you expose your own leanings by not pointing out the negativity from the Carolina posters that do the same thing (Hans, sportnutz, chapelthrill, etc.)

To Let's All Get Along - You are absolutely correct that there is TOO MUCH negativity in posts from one school against another. However, don't fool yourself into thinking that this is only ABC fans. It goes both ways. There are sickos such as dooksuxv3 that lead the way in tearing down other schools and that seems to be more important than supporting their own school. It would be nice to have some intelligent conversations discussing sports - but that won't happen here.
