And? When was the last time you made it past the Sweet 16 with any coach?

Getting to a Sweet 16 doesn't make you nationally prominent or relevant.

if NCSU doesnt make the sweet 16 last year, they would NOT have been ranked in the pre-season poll THIS year...so, in summary, you are wrong(again)....there is relevancy to being VOTED by others into the top 25, or there is no need for a top 25 poll...the team that is not currently relevant is your team, as they are not ranked(and no votes by the die-hards, either)

Here's a lesson from a Carolina fan...we're used to winning titles and stuff, so I'm happy to help you out. At the end of the day, no one cares what you were ranked during the first week of January. What matters is the hardware, what you win at the end of the season and how far you advance in the NCAA tournament. NC State doesn't have any hardware from the past 25 years. That's why you are irrelevant.

Ask a non-NC State fan about NC State basketball...you'll probably get something like, "Oh yeah, I think they went to the Sweet 16 or something last year, but I don't really know much about them." Ask the same person about Carolina or Duke and you'll get "Seems like they are always winning a national title or right there competing for it."

What bubble! NCAA found no infractions at NCSU but that doesn't stop UNC-CHeat fans from spewing their garbage. And peppers did cheat! Just because someone is not found guilty doesn't mean it didn't happen ask OJ.
