Hopefully his treatment is radiation and/or surgery. I say that because there is a lifetime limit to the amount of chemotherapy a person can have. Chemo is not a "medicine" that you just take when you get sick. Chemo changes your DNA (damages it, actually). Hence, the limit to the amount you can take over the course of your lifetime.

At some point, he could feasibly not be able to take any more chemo.

His Tweet said Chemo every two weeks.
