Predictions for State/UNC Game
The Heels played a good game last night, and although GT is a lower tier team, I saw improvement in defense, hustle, and team chemistry. The Heels did lose focus at points last night, but GT never led in the game.
State is not happy with their loss this week, but this game is in Raleigh, and they do have six players scoring in double digits. State has talent and experience and will be up for the game, and would love to beat Carolina and Duke in the same year.
I think Carolina will come ready to play, and the game will be close for a while, but State will be too tough to beat at home, and State wins by 10.

Lo Brown is the heart of State, double him and make him give the ball up....and the Heels win.....allow him to roam free and drive to basket distribute etc...and State wins.......
However while it is a big game ......it is only for bragging rights...lots of games to be played

Unfortunately, I have to agree. As we saw in the WF game, if LB gets all worked up he will end up fouling and since State only really plays a 6 man rotation any type of foul trouble causes major problems.

Unfortunately, I have to agree. As we saw in the WF game, if LB gets all worked up he will end up fouling and since State only really plays a 6 man rotation any type of foul trouble causes major problems.
The Heels want the game to by physical just for that reason...I think you will see many of the role players for the Heels James, JPT, Johnson, Simmons playing physical.

Carolina currently leads the nation in rebounds at 43 a game. They have to keep that going and get the putbacks on offensive rebounds. If the do that, limit turnovers and don't let State get a big lead early and get the crowd more into it than they already will be, I think UNC walks out of the PNC with a win. Just a mere few weeks back, nobody would have given UNC a chance to win this game and it would be a game State was expected to win, so the pressure really is on NC State to win this game. A few games ago, I would have picked State to win by at least 10. With the momentum in UNC's favor and just the way they have been playing, I have to pick UNC to win 81-77.

State by 10. Their place, coming off a loss and still not sure how good the Heels are.
Hoping for different, but expecting State to win.
