Out of six 1 vs.1 national title games, UNC has won three of them

RE: Out of six 1 vs.1 national title games, UNC has won three of them

Wouldn't this mean then that Dean and Carolina owned K since they were even at 2 championships each but head to head wasn't even close!
Also, wouldn't it mean that Roy and Carolina own K since Roy has 2 championships since back at Carolina to K's 1?

Lets face it, if you break down the numbers the majority of K's success was while UNC was in transition between the Smith and Williams years. Not impressed!

K won 2 NC's while DES was at UNCheat and 1 NC while Roy was at UNCheat. Please think before you type

Btw, DES was at UNCheat 20 years before K got there.

And only one team from the ACC went to the NCAA's until just a few years before K came to Dook.

So. Now more teams get in.
So what you are really saying is that DES, with his NYC recruiting pipeline wasnt that good of a coach.

I agree.
Plus,K wasnt the coach then and my point was that DES had built a reputation and had a recruiting pipeline and an establish program and K was new and starting his career. You UNCheat fans act like they were on equal footing those first few years when K was at Duke and always go back to the head to head. But as long as it makes you feel better.

Exhibit A doesn't seem to know that the rat inherited a team that had made it to the elite 8 the previous year and was just 2 years removed from appearing in the title game. It's not like he had to start from scratch.

Only an idiot would think Dean was not a good coach, especially since he dominated K head to head.
K inherited a program that had just been to the national title game two years before.
