The Acc will not get 6 teams in. If Virginia continues playing as well as they have been, someone will be pushed out and that will most likely be UNC; although, with 6 away games for State(and Miami tomorrow), it might be them if they can't learn how to win on the road. State and UNC have the hardest final stretchs in the ACC. They both could end up having their bubbles burst.

acc will get 6 teams in virginia will be one along with miami duke unc state maryland and one other dont forget the tourney has been expanded and the acc is not weak like some would like to think most of the losses have come against other acc schools it is called parity lets have some realistc convo here not one sided out of spite or hate

Even a few losses would not drop up that far down as a seed

What difference does it make where State was ranked in the preseason? Carolina was ranked pretty high as well, and based on their RPI, they are probably an 8-9 seed right now. State's RPI puts them between a 5-6 seed.

But there's still a lot of basketball to be played, which makes current rankings close to meaningless.

Fla State is already at 12-8 (.600). With 11 games left(6 against ACC leaders/3 away games against lower tier teams), they will be lucky to finish out at .500. That's NIT material, maybe. Maryland at 15-6 (.714) has the best chance to be the sixth team
