The last time they had it in Charlotte, Roy whined about being put at the Hilton in University City about 5 miles from downtown. Coincidently, Duke was assigned to the Ritz Carlton a few blocks from the Arena.
5 miles was too far for him and the starters to run if they had to make another retreat. He was just making sure his contingency plan was in place.
