UNC Vs MIAMI...... Predictions?
Came looking for a thread about this game ..... curiously didn't find one though the game is less than 12 hours away ( i saw the thread about the uni's but that didn't seem so much about the actual game).... SO...
Thought I would create one. The official line ( Miami by 8) seems a little generous to UNC to me, given the Duke beat-down. I'm thinking Miami by 12...

I have high hopes for the Heels for this game....the game in DES was closer than the 9 point margin, late fouling ballooned Miami's total. Miami ESCAPED BC at BC by one point, whereas we recently DESTROYED BC at home even after losing PJ. I don't think you can use the d00k curb stomping as a barometer, seeing as the Heels have not QUIT during any game, no matter the score, and nearly came back to beat Butler and state college after getting down early. It's hard to match up with Miami, seeing as they are comprised of upper classmen and one 5th year player, one 6TH year player.....and all have been playing together for quite some time (ie Butler and Indiana). But I've liked what I've seen from the Heels of late, aside from the state college game where JMM was voided early on by 2 ghost fouls in the first 2 minutes. I think if we play smart and hit a few 3's, the game will stay close. Hopefully Strickland continues his return to form and drives the ball hard to the basket. In a close call, I say the Heels take down the Canes 85-81.

Yep. No one is going undefeated and an up an coming Tar Heel team seems like just the right time to do so.

I don't think Miami's perfect ACC record comes to an end today, unfortunately. Miami by at least 10.

Yep...I don't think the 'Canes are gonna run the table in the ACC. Just don't think they drop one at home. @ FSU or Duke would be my bet.
