RE: Jordan Brand Classic Snubs Isaiah Hicks, Chooses Kennedy Meeks
with the key words being "in NC's."
Dean was a better basketball coach AND it was Dean that taught mikey the basketball lessons he needed to become what he is. And Dean never charged k a dime for it!!!

Then you have to credit Bubas who took ol' Deano out to the woodshed and schooled him.
Payment is due in full
Thank you
RE: Jordan Brand Classic Snubs Isaiah Hicks, Chooses Kennedy Meeks
Hicks is a very raw talent that has just scratched the surface of his potential. It's a shame he didn't choose a school that would help him further develop his game to maximize his potential.

Sure thing, scooter.
"But I've heard NBA scout after NBA scout make the same observation about Williams' recent teams: He still recruits as well as any coach in the country, but his players don't really seem to get any better the longer they stay in the program. Whether it's the fact that Williams recruits players who just happen to not put in extra work -- or whether he doesn't push them quite as hard -- a lot of North Carolina players seem to leave UNC with nearly the same skill set they came in with."

Chad Ford actually went to BYU, George Mason (M.S.), and Georgetown (J.D.). Tough break but your conspiracy theory isn't going to align on this one.

RE: Jordan Brand Classic Snubs Isaiah Hicks, Chooses Kennedy Meeks
If Hicks is resting an ankle then it makes sense. Also, the PF spot is loaded this year (Gordon, Randle, Parker, Vonleh), maybe they needed another Center.
Nate Britt was once a top-20, 5-star PG who was being touted as better than Paige. Not sure what's happened (no game film i've seen), but he's dropped from top-20 to mid-50's. Paige may be the playmaker at UNC for the foreseeable future.
Joel Berry, 2014 PG signed w/ UNC is a STUD though.

Coach K learned how to win more than 2 national titles from Bob Knight (who won 3 himself).
