The house of cards is falling

The house of cards is falling

The outside SACS team will report its findings to the commission board, which could take action in June. A university could receive a warning, or worse, probation. After that could come a loss of accreditation, which likely would mean the death knell for a college or university, because it would no longer eligible to receive federal financial aid dollars. A shutdown would be inevitable.

The University was given a warning in DECEMBER
More action to follow in JUNE

The University was NOT given a warning or any other sanction in December. UVA received a warning, not UNC. UNC is under close monitoring.

RE: The house of cards is falling

Does anyone really believe that UNC is destined to be shut down? That's pure nonsense. They have demonstrated resilience and will eventually survive their academic scandal. As someone who did not attend UNC, I am dismayed at their behavior in the past decade or so, but can we get past this already? It's old news and the NCAA won't do anything.

RE: The house of cards is falling

Just because Pack Pride reports something does not make it so.

Silly idiots actually think that they are going to bring down a State funded university.

Lol
Being "proud" to be "under suspicion"... Embarrassingly, "the Carolina way".

No wonder their entire fan base's cumulative IQ remains south of that which is average.

How embarrassing, for them :)

The things some carolina fans can find some solace in these days is puzzling, to say the least.

How embarrassing for you of all people to be quibbling about me correcting the mistake in precise terminology. Remember how quick you were when I mistakenly used "expelled" instead of "suspended".

RE: The house of cards is falling

^^^well, when you're an overt embarrassment to your state/conference... Being "less" embarrassing (on ANY front) is clearly a "win".

Poor lil embarrassed things.

Lol
