BOO the refs It is not like the refs are under paid. They make real good money. I guess $10,000 was just to much to turn down.

Since it was only UVa., I think it was more like $2,500 today.

The Swoff only goes up to $10,000 when its against state college.

When you don't take the ball to the rim, you will not get calls! UVA did not drive the ball and decided to shoot from the perimeter. I guess you guys are just trolling and did not watch the game!

Watched the game. Refs wrecked UVA's lead in the first half with both bad calls and no-calls. Changed the game. UNC was unbeatable in the second half and UVA wilted under the rain of 3 pointers.

Exactly. There was one stretch where UVA was on d for about 5 minutes during which time they were called for at least 3 junk fouls and unc did get a few offensive rebounds legitimately. But those fouls clearly took UVAs momentum down about ten notches. After that point, UVA lost all their mojo and were too passive to play their normal game on the defensive end.

The refs have a lot of weapons in their arsenal that they can use to suck the mojo out of a team on a run. They know when and against whom to use them. They are applied very strategically.
