There is "THE" #1 pick in the NBA draft (only 1). Surely, you're not stupid enough to claim that's going to be Plumless #2. Wait, don't answer that ... we already know the answer.

Every team that drafts in the first round has "a" #1 pick.

Is not there first round pick "a" #1 pick?

If they are the first team to pick, their first round pick is a #1 pick. Otherwise, no.

Funny, every team I root for in the professional ranks introduces their #1 pick to the media the day after.

Guess yours do not.
