Nothing to see here. Thorp would have had a hard time gaining the respect of his new "peers" at Carolina, so it's no surprise that he would go to another institution.

My bad 'Pedo...I can't tell you neoCONS apart. The "Withers came up with Flagship" comment was from Pack-A-Lips. You two make such a nice couple. Get a room.

Link to where I ever claimed Withers invented the word flagship. I'll wait. I've got all afternoon.

Thanks liberTARD. Good lord what a terrible ambassador for kerlina. Did you even attend there?

You sure like to run your pie-hole as though you are a "knowledgable one"....yet....LOLOL...you still think Everett Withers coincd the term "Flagship".

OMG still laughing MAO over that one.

Come back when you have one shred of credibility, 'Pedo. What you're selling ain't working.

The way I see it is money talks. Thorp was demoted after he "thorpedoed" the entire school. No way anybody would give up being chancellor in the prime of their career just to teach. So seeing as how he was going to take a pay cut and still wanted to afford Tammy Hansbrough's services, he had to look elsewhere. Washington was a natural choice as they offered the $$$$$. Now he'll have lots of $1's to give Tammy. ROFL!!!!!

Most executives don't get demoted within an organization, they leave. That's par for the course in the private sector and I wouldn't expect anything different with Thorpe.

don't the abc fans need to start working UNC baseball into the scandle before we win a national baseball title?

No money bets from me, There have already been plenty of winks and nods in the good ole boy system and rams club that runs UNC to deal with this. Question I have is will they have enough influence to deal with the Southern Association of Colleges judgement and sentence on the entire fiasco and the lack of the school properly addressing it.

Interesting comment on the news this morning. Apparently his wife told him that he could not take a job at a school that would cause them to root against UNC.

Thorp knows they are getting ready to have to deal with some rough stuff, not only dose he not want to be Chancellor any more, he no longer wants to teach there. He will not even be in town anymore when the tough actions of the Southern Association of Colleges are being dealt with.
