CAN it Happen NOW?

Ok...Roy has what is obviously a better staring lineup now and a better rotation. The last couple of games the Heels have been actually playing like a team that knows one another. Their RPI is up to 30, but they don't have any high quality wins. Can they win 5 of their next 6? Can they make a deep run in the ACC tourney? Will they make the NCAA if they don't beat Duke but win the rest of their games? What will it take to get them in the Big Dance? :)

My guess is if they win 4 of the next 6 and win one or two in the ACC tourney they are in.

If we win 20 gms and go 10-8 in league....we are in...can't see it any other way.

They have to bet State or Duke and end up in the top 4 in the ACC. Only 4 teams going from the ACC.

Although only 4 teams may be invited to the tourney, it may not be the top 4 teams in the conference standings.

Yep...and I see very little problem accomplishing either of those goals.

I see very little problem in beating ncsuX and dook along with the rest. Maryland on the road will be tough.

Yep....also need to NOT look past Ga. Tech...games like that have sunk The Flagship in the past...

AGREED!!!
but for some reason there is a bias against ACC basketball...
The ranking (ap) this year are the dumbest ever!!!
I think Virginia, State, and UNC are in the top 40 programs in the country but, let's see what the tourny makers think when it comes right down to it...
if they think like AP voters: we are ALL in trouble... (unc,state,uva)
