I see us flopping and flailing our way right into a top-4 finish in the ACC (ahead of preseason champion state college LOL!) and right into another NCAA tourney seeding.

That's what I see for The Taproot.

We also need to keep pace with the pack IF they are able to beat FSU tonight.
Then on Saturday, we'll take the forth spot in the conference away from Gott.

    Go Heels!

    WRONG!

It's meaningful to go on the road and win in the conference and UNC needs the win to keep ole Moe going.

  • seedofdoubt Feb 19, 2013

It's a meaningless game between two want-to-be teams. Win or lose, it won't matter because neither team gains any advantage in either the ACC or the NCAA.

LOL, GT lost at dook AND at UNC earlier in the season by 16 points.

GT scored 63 on UNC and 57 on dook.
UNC scored 79 on GT and dook could only score 73.
GT lost at the woofpups by 17.

There's no such thing as an easy road game this year. I can definitely see the Heels losing, but I hope they continue to build on the improved team chemistry, especially with Hairston in the starting lineup. Go Heels!

More accurately carolina has been road kill this year!

  • Lux Libertas Feb 18, 2013

This game scares me plenty. I fear The Flagship may be looking toward distant seas (state college), and not paying due attention to this one. Hope I'm wrong.

The Flagship hasn't exactly been "killin'" on the road.

Go Jackets. They might score as much on UNC as the Coastal Division football championship team did.
